Dr. Craig McAllister and Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum (Dr. K) first crossed paths 30 years ago, as orthopedic residents at Montefiore/Albert Einstein Hospitals, Bronx, NY. They had a strong kinship right from the start, recognizing in each other a fellow visionary, each with complimentary interests and skills. They are both nationally recognized experts, with numerous publications and TV appearances. They are both entrepreneurs who have started multiple businesses in addition to their surgical practices. Together they are a force to be reckoned with; Dr. K with a passion for programming and building state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, and Dr. McAllister focusing on research and development of minimally invasive surgical techniques and medical devices.
Dr. McAllister is President, Chief Medical Officer and a Founder of SwiftPath, LLC. His clinical and academic background includes a strong focus on surgeon education, patient education, minimally invasive surgical techniques, computer navigation, and outpatient joint replacement. Dr. McAllister has a proven track record of combining hands-on teaching methods, surgeon education, and instrument design. He is recognized for his lectures, publications, and research efforts in the areas of minimally invasive surgery and computer navigation in joint replacement. His research and publications demonstrate his extensive involvement in academic medicine and his commitment to lifelong education.
Dr. Kirschenbaum serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer and member of the Advisory Board of SwiftPath. He is an active clinical and academic orthopedic surgeon, and has over 27 years of success in developing systems that allow more people to access high quality, specialty care and enjoy high levels of patient satisfaction. Currently he is the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center. He is also on the Advisory Board of Medscape. Dr. Kirschenbaum has had a notable career in information technology and is a leading authority on cloud databases, clinical apps, and online communication. Dr. Kirschenbaum’s experience covers a broad range of entrepreneurial, corporate and non-profit operations, leadership, process reengineering, information technology, and innovation design. He is an expert at developing and implementing efficient solutions to IT challenges, allowing for rapid business growth and nimble responsiveness to stakeholder concerns.
Stacey makes sure things get done. She is an expert at keeping the big picture in view, while simultaneously attending to the details of multiple projects and seeing them through to completion. She helps keep the work of others on track, while offering encouragement, positive feedback and support along the way.Stacey’s diverse career has included management, financial planning, personal banking for high-net-worth clients, and stock brokerage. More recently she has played a key role in the start-up phase of multiple companies, including SwiftPath. She sees potential problems and identifies and executes solutions, while maintaining a calm and positive focus. She plays a key role in growing SwiftPath’s business and maintaining positive client relations.
Chrissy has over a decade of experience in upper level healthcare management and is a proven leader and manager. Her experience spans the spectrum from managing a private, orthopedic practice, to serving as administrator at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, one of the largest, urban hospital centers in the country. Along with Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum, she co-founded DTC Healthcom, the information technology development company that produced the IT backbone of Swift-Path. Chrissy has an MBA from LIU in New York and Executive Education in managing healthcare delivery from Harvard Business School.
