SwiftPath’s Founding Fathers

The McAllister-Kirschenbaum Connection

Dr. Craig McAllister and Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum (Dr. K) first crossed paths 30 years ago, as orthopedic residents at Montefiore/Albert Einstein Hospitals, Bronx, NY. They had a strong kinship right from the start, recognizing in each other a fellow visionary, each with complimentary interests and skills. They are both nationally recognized experts, with numerous publications and TV appearances. They are both entrepreneurs who have started multiple businesses in addition to their surgical practices. Together they are a force to be reckoned with; Dr. K with a passion for programming and building state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, and Dr. McAllister focusing on research and development of minimally invasive surgical techniques and medical devices.
